I can't believe I haven't updated since Sept.!! I should have earlier but I suppose I got sidetracked with all my homework and all that Oh well!

So, family weekend was just this past one. My mom came over and we had so much fun! We went to a haunted orphanage (ghost tour) which was okay but I mainly went to hear the stories We also went ghost hunting at Devil's Den (again, it's not a trip to Gettysburg if we don't visit DD!!) without flashlights but that's cool because there was the light of the moon and stars.

Oh, and how could I forget, the amazing 2 hr horse back ride behind Confederate lines and riding up Longstreet's Assault! (Or Pickett's Charge for the rest of you ) That was amazing, and it was a private tour with a park guide--she was amazing by the way. And I rode a horse named Jackson and he was cool--finally a horse who would listen to me and not just follow the lead horse no matter how harad you kicked and pulled! Anyhoo, it was just amazing--Hickory Farms I think it was called, and Pam was awesome too! (the lady who was in charge of the battlefield trip thingys)

But now the good feeling is gone I just got back from my 8:30AM class (ugh I'm still not awake!) and now my schedule is all messed up! I have an hour-by-hour schedule of all the things I have to do (it saves my life I tells ya!) but now it's goign to be messed up thanks to 2 more books I have to read to write a paper on. Ugh, I HATE history right now and I love it. It's my major but I am dying here, seriously, stressed to the max! How am I supposed to do everything? Why do professors think that their class is the only class you have?! It's really pissing me off (pardon my language but seriously this is a major crime here people!)

I only have so much time on my hands and as it is I'm not going to get a good night's rest due to staying up late/worrying about getting things done! I miss my art classes now, and I though I had no time for the projects. HA! Lesson to everyone, never take 4 history courses in one semester--I'm also going to assume that this works for other subjects as well. I am seriously in over my head now. All I do is sit at my desk and read and when I'm not reading (i.e. eating and bathroom breaks) I feel bad for not doing homework!

I just want this semester to be over. It was basically a huge mistake coming to Gettysburg for the Gettysburg Semester--the only good thing about it is visiting battlefields but even that has been ruined one too many times. I want to go back to my OWU which seems more awesome than before. I think what I really want is a nap but I can't take one because I have things to do.

Can someone please help me? I need a week break to think nothing about school and homework and papers and reading and outlines! I just need a hug or some chocolate or both.

Sorry for my rant, this journal started out so well and then came crashing down. Maybe sometime soon something good will happen and let me have some free time to work on the extra work I just got this morning. One can only hope and pray, right?
